SDCC: 20 Things We Learned From The Flash Panel

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con has come to a close but we still have TONS of news from the yearly event! The CW held a panel for the superhero series, The Flash, at this year’s SDCC. The majority of the cast, as well as showrunner Todd Helbing were on hand and gave some details on the new season. We also got our first look at season five with a new trailer which you can check out below.

SDCC: Halloween – Jamie Lee Curtis is Our Queen

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con has come to a close but we still have TONS of news from the yearly event! This fall Universal will be release a new entry in their classic horror franchise, Halloween. The film features the return of Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, and picks up 40 years after the events of the first film. David Gordon Green directed the film and co-wrote the script with Danny McBride and Jeff Fradley. Curtis, Green, and producers Malek Akkad and Jason Blum were all on hand for the panel and explained how the film came together.

SDCC: Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse – Steinfeld, Johnson, Moore, Cage, Glenn and Mulaney!

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con has come to a close but we still have TONS of news from the yearly event! At this year’s SDCC, Sony brought the cast and creators behind the upcoming Spider-Man animated film, Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse,  to Hall H to present footage from the film and some details on the upcoming flick. Co Directors Peter Ramsey, Bob Persichetti and Rodney Rothman were joined by cast members Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, and Hailee Steinfeld, as well as producer Chris Miller and writer/producer Phil Lord. The project began with Lord and Miller being asked by Sony to make an animated Spider-Man film, they agreed as long as they were able to use Miles Morales. In the Ultimate line of comics, Miles becomes Spider-Man after the Peter Parker of his universe is killed. The film begins with this story and expands from there.

SDCC: The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part! Panel and Footage Description!

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con has come to a close but we still have TONS of news from the yearly event! As part of WB’s panels at this year’s SDCC they had a presentation on the upcoming sequel, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. Writers and Producers Chris Miller and Phil Lord were joined by cast members Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, and Stephanie Beatriz. They showed some small footage from the film, and talked about the upcoming sequel. The film picks up five years after the first movie, and the invasion of the Duplo “aliens.” Bricksburg is now Apocalypseburg, a Mad Max inspired wasteland.

SDCC: Godzilla King of Monsters

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con has come to a close but we still have TONS of news from the yearly event! As part of WB’s panels at this year’s SDCC they had a presentation on the upcoming sequel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is a sequel to the 2014 film, and will be followed up by the Godzilla and King Kong (Skull Island) crossover film. King of the Monsters will feature everyone’s favorite Kaiju facing off against Mothra, Rodan and the three-headed monster King Ghidorah. Director Michael Dougherty and cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Thomas Middleditch were all on hand for the panel which included the first trailer for the film. SDCC: Arrow Season 7 Details!

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con has come to a close but we still have TONS of news from the yearly event! The hit CW show Arrow held a panel hosted by Ralph Garman at this year’s SDCC and revealed a new trailer for the upcoming season as well as some details on the upcoming season. The panel featured season 7 showrunner Beth Schwartz, and cast members Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Echo Kellum, Rick Gonzalez, Juliana Harkavy and Colton Haynes.
