SDCC: The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part! Panel and Footage Description!

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con has come to a close but we still have TONS of news from the yearly event! As part of WB’s panels at this year’s SDCC they had a presentation on the upcoming sequel, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. Writers and Producers Chris Miller and Phil Lord were joined by cast members Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, and Stephanie Beatriz. They showed some small footage from the film, and talked about the upcoming sequel. The film picks up five years after the first movie, and the invasion of the Duplo “aliens.” Bricksburg is now Apocalypseburg, a Mad Max inspired wasteland.
