Just when you started to forget about the Saw franchise after many, many sequels, Lionsgate has released a trailer for their upcoming sequel/reboot Jigsaw. The trailer makes the movie seem like more than just a straight up horror film, with a sense of mystery and action throughout the two and a half minutes. Sony dropped a new trailer this morning for an upcoming action film starring Taraji P. Henson called Proud Mary. Based on the trailer below, the movie looks like it’s going to be pretty kick ass and should help widen Taraji’s fan base, which is not a bad thing at all. She’s an amazing actress who is definitely seeing a lot more career growth lately with the success of her TV show Empire, and in movies such as Hidden Figures.
Over the past few years DC comics has announced a slew of films that they’re going to be producing and releasing in the coming years. One of the projects that has received a lot of hype is a Shazam movie this is mostly due to the fact that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson began talks with DC over whether he wanted to play Shazam or his main antagonist Black Adam. When it was announced that The Rock would be starting as Black Adam, it was also announced that he would be getting his own film, following along with with the most recent interpretations of the character where he is more of an antihero then he is a flat out villain. Not much more development has been made or announced when to comes to the Shazam movie, until today.
