A New Avengers: Endgame trailer is here and we were not prepared for the awesomeness within.
Before we get into dissecting this, check out the trailer for Avengers: Endgame below.
Alright now that we’re all still here and alive for now, let’s talk about what all this trailer actually shows us.
The trailer starts with some quick glimpses into back to the first Iron Man film before showing us Tony’s mask in the Guardians’ ship, The Benatar, just as the previous trailers did.
We then get a few more glimpses at previous moments from the Iron Man films.
Then back to The Benatar where we see it floating in space and Tony looking out the windshield.
We then get into Steve and his path to Endgame.
A quick shot from the last trailer of the Statue of Liberty and clear destruction and chaos.
Then we see a quick glimpse of Steve in what seems to be that group therapy meeting again.
We then get to Hawkeye, and a shot that wasn’t in previous films, which shows him training his daughter to shoot a bow and arrow while the rest of his family is in the background.
Then we cut to Hawkeye essentially taking on his Ronin persona as seen previously. This all has to confirm that his family is gone after the snap. Natasha finds him and looks torn apart to see him in this darkness.
We then get into Thor and a few quick shots from previous films as he talks about watching people die.
We see Okoye from Infinity War.
We then cut back to Natasha and Steve talking. What’s most interesting here is the fact that Natasha’s hair seems to change drastically throughout the film. White like Infinity War, Red like her classic look, blonde at times. It’s not clear why, but there’s likely some reason to it.
We get our one quick look at Bruce throughout the entire trailer, which is suspicious if you ask me.
Then we see Scott is walking around trying to figure out what’s going on. It’s not clear how long he’s been gone/in the Quantum Realm, but it’s likely he didn’t see anything with the snap.
A Quinjet flies through the fog to land in a city.
Clint and Natasha have a moment on the Quinjet, as they ready for some sort of mission.
We then get a few shot of Clint inside a tunnel that explodes.
A quick shot of Rocket in some new clothes, hanging onto War Machine.
Then a few shots of Steve and Clint in what seems to be a moment of the two discussing what happens next.
A look at Scott in his Ant-Man suit.
Here’s where things truly start to get interesting. We get a shot of Thor which looks an awful lot like the shot of him when he arrives in Wakanda in Avengers: Infinity War. Except this time he looks as though he’s focusing, and trying to decide how to move forward, and what to do with his new weapon Stormbreaker.
Then we see Nebula run to attack someone in a desolate wasteland. When and where this takes place is unclear.
We then see another shot of Hawkeye in that tunnel from before, aiming an arrow. Likely he shoots this arrow and then runs away as it explodes as seen in the previous images in the trailer.
We then get another look at Natasha partaking in some target practice, which was seen in previous trailers.
Cap tightening his shield to his arm. Which is actually a bit curious, as his shield in more recent designs was able to attach to magnets on his arm. So why the older design here?
We get a few quick glances at Ant-Man in smaller form running through some destruction. This shot is rather interesting as we see him use a pencil to vault over an edge.
And as he flies we see a plug in cord for headphones or some sort of Aux cord. We also see what seems like some lipstick just past the pencil. Which means he has to be somewhere where people live or work.
As he flips and falls down we see that he flies past some water, possibly a water main break, but it could be something else.
We then finally see a closeup of Tony’s face for the first time.
Which then leads us to the Avengers all walking out of HQ in new uniforms.
ALL OF THEM. EVEN TONY!!!!
Then we get the title card.
And finally the meeting of Carol and Thor.
The biggest question right now has to be the costumes. There’s clearly at least three missions with one being with Clint and Natasha in black outfits, possibly running through a covert op. The second may be the team in their regular uniforms, with Cap in an older suit. Then the third is all of them in the red and white suits. But it’s unclear what the red and white suits are for. They seem rather similar to what Hank Pym wore when he went into the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Could to rumors of the Avengers time traveling to stop Thanos be correct? Maybe?
For now we just have to wait and speculate. But be sure to keep following Poor Man’s Spoiler for all of our Avengers: Endgame coverage. And catch the film when it hits theaters on April 26th.
