Westworld: Aaron Paul Joins the Cast For Season 3

HBO’s Westworld just got a stellar addition to it’s cast with Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul. Deadline broke the news yesterday that Paul would be joining the 3rd season of HBO’s Sci-Fi series.

Paul won three Emmy’s for his role as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad and is coming off the Hulu Original Series The Path. The actor is about to begin filming the anthology series Are You Sleeping? for Apple. That series comes from Reese Witherspoon’s production company Hello Sunshine, and is one of many projects Apple is working on to expand it’s original content.

Paul is an amazing addition to the cast of Westworld, which already boast a phenomenal ensemble. He’s someone who has shown in recent years to have plenty of talent, and the ability to play any kind of character. It’s not clear yet what the role may entail but it’s exciting none the less. The other high point of this is the fact that it means Season 3 of Westworld must be moving along quickly. The first two seasons both took time to put together. With the writing of the entire season being completed before a single episode was filmed. If they’re already casting roles for the new season, then the scripts are likely completed or close to completion.

We don’t have a release date yet for season 3 of Westworld but it’s expected to hit HBO sometime in late 2019. You can catch the first two seasons of Westworld on HBO or any of their various streaming outlets.
